"We were very warmly greeted by Amanda at the train station upon our arrival in Carcassonne. Travelling with our two young boys. Cozy cottage that suited all our needs. Location is excellent, very close to La Cite and other amenities. Amanda is an absolute gem. She accomodated an unexpected and last minute extended stay due to a rail strike. She then provided us with a great itinerary for exploring Cathar country by car. Would highly recommend a stay in this lovely property."

It's geographical position in this pretty little traffic free square just off the rue Trivalle is marvellous. We could walk to the Cité and castle and to the old bridge and river in minutes. "We stayed at LesTroubadours the last week of June, 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The townhouse was perfect, clean, freshly renovated but still felt very authentic. The location could not be better, we walked to La Cite, the Bastide and all around the Old City . Restaurants, shops, bike rental and groceries were within a short walk. The Sheridans could not be more helpful with planning road trips or outings.
